  1. Adobe Acrobat X Standard or Pro. Adobe Acrobat XI Standard or Pro Including the locally installed Adobe Creative Cloud XI. Adobe Acrobat DC Mac only on Mac OS X 10.9 and 10.10 64-bit only. Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit and 64-bit) Microsoft ® Windows ® 8 (32-bit and 64-bit) Microsoft ® Windows ® 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit).
  2. Most older Adobe apps were created using 32-bit architecture and do not work in Catalina. We have no plans to update apps that we no longer support or develop. The following table lists some common 32-bit Adobe apps that are not compatible with Catalina. (It is not a comprehensive list of all older 32-bit Adobe apps.).

When I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my computer some years back it also installed something called Adobe Application Manager. AAM software is 32 bit. I contacted Adobe Technical Support Chat and asked how I could delete the Adobe Application Manager 32 bit software but keep my Acrobat Pro DC (64 bit) fully functional. I was advised that the Application Manager software was an indispensable part of Acrobat Pro DC and that Acrobat would NOT run without it. When i asked if, henceforth, Acrobat Pro was going to be a Windows only program, I was told 'That is correct.'

I find this totally amazing. Has anyone heard anything different about the future of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC? I can't believe Adobe is going to refuse to update AAM or replace it with anything else, but rather just totally and completely abandon all Macintosh users of their Acrobat software! forever! - Randy
